Overcoming Anxiety Day 1: Your worries matter.

The things you’re worried about matter.

Have a few minutes?  Have a listen:

Or read the post:

Anxiety is something many of us are facing these days.  If you struggle with anxiety, you may be feeling short of breath, a racing pulse, stomach pain, or maybe even headaches.  It’s what happens when your worries and fears stack up against you and take over your mind and body.

If you’re dealing with anxiety, you may have someone in your life who keeps telling you that you shouldn’t worry.  And deep down, you probably wish turning off anxiety was as simple as flipping a switch.

But you and I both know that it’s not that easy.

I want to take a moment to let you know first that it does matter what you are worrying about.  It’s completely natural to worry when faced with a situation like the one we are dealing with these days.

I don't know what you believe, but I believe in a God who can handle your fears and worries, and He cares about what’s bothering you, because He loves you and cares about you.

Question:  Have you talked to God about what’s bothering you?

1 Peter 5:7 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.”

Thank you for joining me for this mindful moment.  May today be a good one.
